By downloading, installing, or using Totem Vault: Hide Photo & Note (the "App"), you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

Totem Vault is a privacy and security app that lets you store your photos and videos in a hidden digital vault. The vault is unlocked using a physical object recognized by the camera, Face ID/fingerprint, or a PIN code.

2. License to Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use this App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Under this license, you may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the App's source code
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Use or sell the App for commercial purposes
• Attempt to bypass the App's security features

3. No Account Required

The App does not require you to create a server-side account. Your PIN code, settings, and vault content are stored only on your own device, and you are solely responsible for keeping your device and unlock method secure.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you must:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Respect the rights of others
• Not share misleading or harmful content
• Not disrupt the App's normal operation
• Not send spam or unsolicited content

5. Content and Intellectual Property

The App and its content (design, software, and other materials) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.

User Content

Any content you add to your vault (photos, videos, notes, settings, etc.) remains entirely your property. Since the App has no backend server, we never receive, access, or process this content — it stays only on your device and no license to it is granted to us.

6. Vault Content and User Responsibility

Because the App stores your content only on your device, encrypted:

• If you lose your vault PIN or unlock object, we cannot restore access to your content on your behalf
• Your content is not backed up to any server; losing, damaging, or uninstalling the App from your device may result in permanent loss of content
• The accuracy of physical object recognition or biometric unlock features is not 100% guaranteed
• You are solely responsible for the security of your device and unlock codes

7. Pricing and Subscriptions

The App may include free and paid features:

• Prices are as displayed in the app store
• Subscriptions may renew automatically
• Cancellations are handled through the app store
• Refund policies are subject to the app store's rules

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for third-party content or services

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or use of the App.

10. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or update the App at any time
• Add or remove features
• Temporarily or permanently discontinue the service
• Update these terms

11. Termination

We may restrict access to the App if you violate these terms. You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
